Store Policy

Orders are typically processed within 1 to 3 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped. For items out of stock, please contact us and we will try to accommodate your request on a case-by-case basis.

Disclaimer
  • Orders CANNOT be changed, modified, or cancelled after checkout.
  • Products are handmade. Minor imperfections or slight variations in color/craftsmanship may occur from item to item and are not subject to return once purchased.
  • We carefully package our products, so you receive them safely. However, our products are intricate and delicate. Due to shipping and handling, minor blemishes, loose threads, etc. can occur. These can be easily handled with minor stitching or glue by the customer.

Shipping Policy

You will receive a confirmation email with tracking information once your order has shipped. Tracking may take 24-48 hours to update once your order has shipped. We currently do not ship internationally (outside the United States) or to P.O. Boxes.

Chic and Ethnic is not responsible for the following:

  • Incorrect entry of shipping address by the customer.
  • Delays in shipping encountered by the carrier.
  • Orders that are lost or damaged in the mail. Please contact the carrier directly. We will do our best to assist where we can.
  • Order marked as delivered by the carrier. Please contact the carrier directly if you have not received your package.
  • Any issue with tracking or package delivery by the carrier. Please contact the carrier directly if you have not received your package.

    Local Pick-up
    • There is no shipping cost for Local Pick-up.
    • Local Pick-up hours are Tuesday through Thursday, 4pm to 8pm EST (except Holidays).
    • Orders can be picked up in Germantown, MD. The address is provided in your confirmation email.
    • Orders placed with Local Pick-up must be picked up within 5 business days of receiving the confirmation email.
    • Please have your photo identification (driver’s license, etc.) and your confirmation email available when you come to pick up the order. Orders will not be filled without photo identification.

    Return policy

    We want you to love your purchase and we do our best to make sure you’re happy with it. Please read through our policies before contacting us. Returns are not accepted, except as outlined.


    Defects or issues with your order

    • For any items with a major defect not caused by the shipping carrier, you must contact us within 24 hours of delivery and you must include photographs of the entire item(s) and its shipping package. Your case will then be subject to approval for a return.
    • Once approved for return, the customer is responsible for all return shipping costs to return the item.
    • Once the item is safely received, and inspected, a refund will be sent within 10 business days.
